Adding the bot

What you need

• A Discord server where you have the Administrator permission.
• A couple of minutes for first-time setup afterwards.

Steps

1. Open reevun.app and press Add bot to server. Or follow the invite link directly.
2. Pick the server and confirm the permissions. The bot needs administrator rights: it gives roles, creates threads for applications and requests, mutes and bans.
3. Sign in to the website with Reevun ID. The dashboard opens after you sign in, and your server shows up in the list of families.
4. Go through first-time setup: on the website or with /setup in Discord.

Where the bot's role sits

Discord only lets a bot manage roles that are below its own role. So after adding it:

1. Open Server Settings → Roles.
2. Drag the Reevun role above the rank roles, warning roles, the family member role and the mute and ban roles.

If the bot's role is lower

The bot can't give or remove such a role and says so: "The bot can't manage the role…". The website shows a warning next to such a role.
